First of all, I must say that i don't know if this is the right forum, but please, don't move this thread so I can find it (I supposed it was right because there's a tex up there, so I supposed that this was for technic questions).

I'm translating Civilization IV into catalan and I'm having problems with the interpunct character (·, numeric entity 183). I just can't see it on the city bar, here you got it:

I can see this character in the civilopedia.


But I can't see it on the city bar.


Since I suppose that you should add the cyrillic characters, what file should I modify in order to see the interpunct on the city bar?

I don&#39;t know what encoding uses catalan. I only know that it uses the spanish (spain) keyboard layout. Maybe this will help.

It&#39;s not a very frequent font. But I checked it and I could write every catalan special character without problems with MS Word. Well, maybe the american distribution of this font lacks some characters, so, if this can help, I attach here my font file.

PS: BTW, what does the accordeon icon mean? I&#39;ve never seen an icon of someone playing th accordeon in english, spanish or catalan forums. Sorry for this off-topic comment, it&#39;s just the most shocking thing of russian forums.

The icon playing on an accordion has some values. To explain all values difficultly enough is how to explain a condition of Russian soul. Depending on a context it can mean, that the author of the previous message has successfully joked or has written, something cheerful. Also it can mean, that to the author of the message is cheerful. In general it means pleasure, fun.

You can write under the order all symbols of the Catalan alphabet? (the symbols differing the English alphabet in particular interest)

By the was, I thought, that only Ukrainian language had letter Ї, but it turned out that Catalan has it too How is it read in Catalan? Another interesting fact I learned when searched information about the alphabet, is that word "barracks" derives from Catalan-Valencian "barraca"
