We have been working to clear the backlog of outstanding Civ4 GOTM and
WOTM results. During this process, we have uncovered a significant number
of entries that are outside the rules, and outside the spirit of our
competition – entries where it is apparent that the player has replayed
portions of their game, most probably to obtain a better result. I hope
you appreciate that we are just trying to make this competition as fair
and equitable as possible for all players. We want to maintain a fair
competition, played in a good spirit in a friendly community. Deliberate,
cynical play such as this hurts the community.
We are sending you this e-mail, because you have had one or more GOTM/WOTM
entries that have fallen foul of this rule. This entry(ies) has been
excluded, and will not be included in the published results.
Please be advised that if you immediately mend your ways to cease
reloading, we will continue to accept entries from you. However, if you
continue to play outside the rules, we reserve the right to exclude you
