Есть рецепт, как откатиться до предыдущей версии, если после патча проблемы:

it works! you can load the previous version of the software (prior to the patch) by going to BE's properties menu, select Betas, type in "legacyplease" in the box, then you can select "legacy" as a Beta and the software reloads with the old version prior to the patch. after the software updates, you can play the game.
Меню Properties, насколько я понимаю, это по правой кнопке мыши в стиме на названии игры. Затем вкладка "Бета-версии" и "legacyplease" в поле "код доступа", затем выбрать "legacy" в списке.


Сам не пробовал, так как всё и так работает.
