In response to beelone's claim,

I have asked PrO88333, what exactly is he talking about so I can better understand.

beelone claims that we had not researched writing technology yet at turn 70 because statistics show that we had 0% research.

It is false. Before I start, I must mention that my partner, glory7, disconnected two times due to lag and we had to reload. So after reload, bugs may occur and if opponent sees that our science is 0% at turn 70, it probably is a bug. We are not sure if the bug had caused any unfairness after the reloads.

Proof
How we managed to get ahead of science was by building the great library.

Step by Step explanation. I got these screenshots by loading the saves turn by turn.

In conclusion, we used the free technology bonus for Guilds. This expensive technology gave us the advantage in science.
