После годового перерыва, благодаря эпическому провалу Цив 5 в мультиплеере, принято решение попробовать возобновить ССС - Civilization Clan Championship. Инициативу в свои руки взял Пенни, за что ему огромное спасибо и я надеюсь совместными усилиями нам удастся придать новый толчок мультиплеерному движению в игре. Несмотря на то, что в последнее время уровень игры в целом стал намного выше, чем даже 2 года назад, но вот количество игроков давно шло на убыль. Кому-то игра приелась, кто-то повелся на Цив5, да и просто реальная жизнь не стоит на месте. Новые игроки среди которых очень много русскоязычных, появляясь не задерживаются надолго в том числе из-за отсутствия разнообразия в ладдере и не возможности прогрессировать. ССС отличный повод для качественной командной игры и освоения новых горизонтов в игре.

I. General Rules

A. Mod
All events will SUGGESTIVELY be played on the latest version of the Beyond the Game MOD on the dedicated lobby (BTG latest version (021): http://fastmoves.de/BTG021.exe
An agreement can be reached for 2 teams(*) to play their event on the regular lobby (with a blazing timer up to industrial). Settings should be the same, obvioulsy "BTG options" not to be checked.
(* - Doesn't apply to "multiple" events, CTON, Ironman, etc)
Otherwise/Other events won't be delayed by any means if a MOD (or any other game component) of 1 Player is not installed properly. The opponent team can ask for DQ if no sub is found within the given 10 minutes.

B. Clan Registration
Please register your clan with a minimum of 3 players on the website. A dedicated forum page will be created, and clans can amend their list of players at all time during the week-end, with the only exception that a league member can only represent 1 clan per CCC (cannot switch clan during the event)

C. Freelance Players
The CCC will be held as a GROUP of multiples tournaments.
Therefore, any Ladder player can compose a team (or yourself in case of a solo event).
The only restriction concerns CLANS player, they cannot participate as "freelance players/teams" and have to register as part of their clan squad

D. Scoring & Tourney System
The winner of CCC will be the team who wins the sunday finals
Sunday finals will oppose 4 teams of player, the criterias for qualification are :
- 1 - Having at least 3 players on the clan roster
- 2 - Highest amount of points scored in the first part of the CCC
- 3 - (if tied), amount of events having taken part in

D1. Scoring & Qualfying System
For the Solo events (event where all players/teams play each other at once : CTON, Ironman, OCC, Special)
Here is the point system for scoring for those events (unless specified) :
1st Place = 6 points
2nd Place = 3 points
3rd Place = 2 points
4th Place = 1 point
For the Teamers / Round Robins events (all 7-eras teamers) :
Each game won will be worth 3 points, according to the following structure :
- If 2 clans register, they play a best of 3 series. (Score 6-0 or 6-3)
- If 3 clans register, they play each other. (Score 6-3-0 or 3-3-3)(Order of games following current rank of CCC : 1v3, 2v3, 1v2).
- If 4 clans or more register, they play an usual Tourney table. Finalist get 6-3 (no points for the semi-finalists)

D2. Sunday Finals
The 4 qualified clans play each other in a round-robin (semi-finals then finals) consisting in two Best-of-3 series.
Seeding is done according to the qualifying results (the rankings of the clans before the sunday afternoon), Seed 1 is playing Seed 4 & Seed 2 is playing Seed 3 in the semi-finals.

The highest seeded team picks the first event to be played, among the list of 3v3 Teamers played during the CCC, with the same settings.
For the second game, the second team is picking the event. In case of a 3-game, the highest ranked team picks again. Note that the same event cannot be chosen twice.

The same system is used for the finals, and the 3rd place matches.

E. CTON Rules
Please be aware that the League Staff will enforce the CTON rules with especial care. There must not be any dealmaking between players whatsoever, either expressedly or by “understanding". In case any disputes or complaints arise the League Admins will review the games situations and, if possible, even look into savegames. If players are found guilty of making any agreements with other players outside the rules, measures up to a ban for future CCCs may be taken.

F. Hosting & Length rules
It's important to host the games ASAP, and make them as smooth as possible. Therefore the player with the best connection, or an admin is highly suggested as host, in case of issue, however, the team (or player) on top of the tourney table has priority for hosting the game.
Within round robins, the teams can agree on a short break, but this break (including the eventual subbing of a player between rounds) shouldn't exceed 10 minutes wait (other clan are waiting/playing too). Any player connection is included in this 10 min break, and they won't be any extra, considering every player is suppose to have his MOD & Connection fully working for the CCC.
The time zones used are:
EST=Eastern Time
CET=Central European Time
In case of error, the time in EST of this schedule prevails on everything else.

G. Handling Disputes
If there are any disputes, the TD in charge of that event will make a ruling. If challenged by either side, then a committee of at least 3 Ladder Admins and TDs (from different clans than those directly involved in the dispute) will be called upon to impartially reach a fair decision. All parties are bound by this decision.

H. Game Victory
The game winner will be the one fullfilling the victory condition, determined by the end game popup. In case of Score-end, it is therefore the player with the highest score that wins. Same goes for other players. There are 2 exceptions, however : A/ If two players end up tied on the last turns (winner of CTON i.e, or anyone finishing tied for 3rd (i.e Ironman) it's the player with the highest score the FORMER turn that is ranked best, NOT the order displayed. Similarly, if two players/team win on Spaceship victory on the same turn, it's the team/player with the highest score on the last turn that wins

II. Registration rules

A. Registration / grace period
Players are expected to be in the lobby 15 minutes BEFORE the match starts to handle all registration issues so the events can start promptly. If no one from a clan has registered by the scheduled start time of the tourney, or contacted the TD, the TD will assume that the clan isn't entering that event, and the event will begin as soon as all registered clans have all their players checked-in and available.
There is a maximum grace period of 10 minutes for all events for check-ins (NOT for registration). As soon as all teams did the check-ins (or at 10 min); the TD is starting the tourney, no matter what. This will be strictly enforced by all TD/HTD/Admins. So, if a clan has the chance that the tourney is still open at .05, he can still register, but is in no place to ask so if the tourney has already started.

B. Special rule for the Ironman tourney
For the Ironman, the places are now unlimited.
With a large range of Timer available in-game, players are responsible to adjust the timer speed in relation with the amount of players & lag of the game

C. Seeding Rule
There will be no Seeding, nor Loser bracket for this CCC. INCLUDING SOLO (1v1...) events.

III.Rules of Conduct and Responsibilities of Players and League Staff

The spirit of the league is that we have fun playing competitively and have respect for other players while doing so. We all realize that the CCC is the most competitive event on the league, but standards must be maintained all the same. To do this the following policies will be enforced.

1. Not only will players be held responsible for their actions but so will their clans. Players gain pride and prestige for their clan when they win games so will their clan suffer should it's players act in a substantially bad way.

2. TD's are there to run the events and it is their job to make judgment calls. If there is a problem with the game you are in, immediately pause the game and inform the TD, don't wait 30 turns and then tell the TD that you object to something that happened. It is then to late for them to change the situation and they can not restart a game that will slow the event down by 2 hours.

3. If you disagree with a ruling a TD makes, do not abuse the TD, flood them with PM's or otherwise disrupt the CCC. Ask to have an official review by the HTD or an Admin, if that doesn't solve the problem you can ask for a Admin/TD panel to review the situation but that will only be used in the most serious situations as it takes alot of time to organize that. Abusing TD's or Admins will result in a sliding scale of penalties, starting with your(teams) ejection from the event, being suspended(and losing skill); and finally leading up to possibly having your clan disqualified from the CCC. Yes these are strong measures but we can not tolerate situations approaching anarchy during a CCC.

Remember being competitive is fine but sportsmanship is what CivPlayers is all about.


IV.Universal Game Settings Rules (Unless Exception noted):

A. General Options
Game mode simultaneous turns, seeding random, Speed Quick, climate temperate, sea level Medium, and difficulty level Noble.
Civ selection will use the Anonymous setting, and switched to normal before the game is launched.
In team games, each team can pick each leader & civ just once per team (unless specified otherwise).
In maps where appropriate, areas per player 1, land shape random, neutral territory random. Isthmus, ring, and spoke width 3.
No AI Takeover, NEVER retire (ALT-Q) from game.
Resources balanced : Where available

Unless specified differently, the following “OPTIONS" to be chosen are always war, no barbs, no huts, no random events and report game to civplayers game monitor.
The option : New random seeding of odds should always be on
Unless specified, substitutions will be allowed.
Unless specified, in all unrestricted leader game, same civ and same leader can be choosen only one time per team.
Unless specified, nukes, including tactical nukes are banned
Cristo Redentor is banned for use to changes civics in conjunction with spy missions.

B. Beyond the Game Options
The following option should always be checked, unless mentionned otherwise :
Reporting the game on the websites option should always be checked
Usage of the "Auto-report" to CCC tournaments should be done, if/when available, from the game
Unless specified, Planes banned option checked.
Unless specified, Spies are banned completely. (When Spies are not allowed, Great spies are banned too. IF they pop-up (GreatWall, Communism...); they may be use statically only (SY or Golden Age))
Unless specified, Blockades banned option checked.
Unless specified, Tech discount option should be checked
Unless specified, Amphibious assaults option should be checked
The host is supposed to tone down (at the opponent request) the TIMER Speed of 1 speed, whenever a stack attack (10+Units) is occurring. This is suppose to improve chances to speed up games in the first place


C. Victories Options
Unless notified, all victory conditions must be checked, except Diplomatic & Treasure Victory

V. Event rules & settings :

Event #1 -- Friday 1500 EST - 2100 CET
The Classic Singles Clan Tourney
Players: 1v1
Era : Draft Era - Player decide which era they want to play BEFORE choosing their leaders & Civs (no bans). The player on the TOP of the tourney table chose the first era to REMOVE (=he doesn't want to play), then the second player removes one other era, etc. When the players left 6 eras out, they can go on to play the (7th) remaining era.
Map: FM Mirror Inland Sea1 (http://go2.wordpress.com/?id=725X1342&site=fastmoves.wordpress.com&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.fastmoves.de%2Ffm_Mirror_Inland_Sea1.py). Duel size, Low sea. Reflection type
Victory: 1-city ON
Pick: Yes, with unrestricted leaders on. India banned as civ.
Limit: 110 or 120 turns
Timer: Speed 3 - Switch to Speed 4 if Reny or earlier
Other : Substitution not allowed
Other : Planes & Spies banned

Event #2 -- Friday 1500 EST - 2100 CET
OCC Reny Peace Islands
Players : Solo Event
Era: Renaissance
Map: Equal_Islands (latest version) - Toroïdal. Standard, medium sea level,
Victory : No Space Race - Peace - On points
Pick: yes - all allowed - duplicates allowed, Unrestricted Leaders On
Limit: 130 turns
Timer: Blazing
Option : One City Challenge - checked
Option : Always Peace
Special: Regular OCC rules, No nukes, no Internet, No Space Race. No unbalancing wonders. no espionage , no privateers, no open border agreements.
This will be a two-round event, if more than 7 clans register, the field will be split into two preliminary games randomly by the TD in charge, with the top 3 place finishers in each match advancing to finals. If more than 14 clans register, the field will be split into three preliminary games randomly by the TD in charge, with the top 2 place finishers in each match advancing to finals.

Event #3 -- Friday 1800 EST - 2400 CET
Medieval Clan Tourney
Players: 3v3
Era: Medieval
Map: Inland Sea, small, medium sea level, no wrap
Victory: 2-city Elim ON. City Victory applies. Game is played as usual, but in case of finishing on time, the team that has capture the biggest amount of cities wins. If that is tied, then the Score finish counts.
Pick : yes, unrestricted leader. Byzantium Banned.
Limit: 95 turns
Timer: Speed 3 - Fast -
BTG Option : Flanking Disabled (Option to be checked)
BTG Option : Can Cross ocean checked
BTG Option : Amphibious assaults allowed checked

Event #4 -- Saturday200 EST - 0800 CET
3v3 Industrial Grudge Match
Players: 3v3
Era: Industrial
Map: Small, Green_Ring V3, 3 tile isthmus, medium sea level. Land Shape : Solid.Neutral Terriotry : Islands
Victory: 2-city Elim ON. City Victory applies. Game is played as usual, but in case of finishing on time, the team that has capture the biggest amount of cities wins. If that is tied, then the Score finish counts.
Pick: Yes, Regular unrestricted leader on, Russia and England banned as civ.
Limit: 65 or 75 turns
Timer: Speed 3 - Fast -
BTG Option : No Unbalancing wonders checked. (=Statue of Liberty & Taj Mahal banned)
BTG Option : Flanking Disabled
BTG Option : Amphibious Siege allowed

Event #5 -- Saturday 0700 EST - 1300 CET
The Ironman
Players: Up to 10 Players (priority to clan members)
Era: Ancient
Map : GreenRingV3. High sea. Standard size (small for 6, large for 9+), Size 3 for the spoke, toroidal.
Pick : unrestricted leader. India as Civs is banned
Victory: End of Game or Final Victory Condition (Space, Cultural, Conquest, Domination, Time only)
Timer : Speed 5 - Blazing
Difficulty level : All players must choose the MONARCH Level
BTG Option : No blockades
Others : No Internet
Others : Planes allowed
Others : Spies allowed

It is not allowed to vote different rules at the beginning of the game
Substitutions: Allowed to a maximum of 3. Players can agree to take 15 minute breaks every 4 hours. If someone must leave the match (or drops); 15 minutes will be allowed for them or their substitute to appear.[/color]
Special Rule:
The clans that quit/left an Ironman is punished by a deduction of 3 points, and banned for the followings Ironman, unless the clan can clearly proof to the TD they'll be able to play the whole event before it starts (the following time). The ban must still be enforced at least once. A clan that is banned twice is banned definitively from Ironman.
A clan must have 2 players available minimum to play the Ironman if they enter the event (in order to avoid major issues with a player connection). Punition for a clan that fails to have a backup player for the Ironman is the same as quitters.
Finally a clan that breaks one of the 2 rules above will not be allow to play another event at the same time as the Ironman.
New Rules phrasing :
"In the spirit of good sportsmanship and healthy competition, it is the rule in the CCC that all individuals and teams who enter an event will stick with it unless (a) they have a substitute or (B) the game is clearly decided and there is UNANIMOUS consent of all parties to call the game based on current score. Quitting a CCC game or forfeiting a match is even worse than doing so in regular league games. It can spoil the event for the others who participate as well as potentially imbalance the competition. Forfeiting Event A to participate in Event B just to obtain more points is considered poor sportsmanship and clans will be penalized from participating in furture events as a result of the violation of this rule Clans should either have enough players to participate in multiple events running simultaneously or shouldn't enter more games than they have people to compete"

Timer: Speed 3 - Switch to Speed 4 if Reny or earlier
Option : No City Razing
Other : Planes allowed
Other : Spies allowed

Limit: Final : 140 turns, heat 120 turns.

Classical Start
Players: 3v3
Era: Classical
Map: Green Wheel, Tiny, medium sea level, cylindrical wrap. Spoke Width - 3, Ring width - 3.
Victory : 2 city-Elim ON. City Victory applies. Game is played as usual, but in case of finishing on time, the team that has capture the biggest amount of cities wins. If that is tied, then the Score finish counts.
Pick: Yes. Unrestricted. 6 differents Traits must be picked within the team, with no Aggressive Rome
Limit: 100 turns
Timer: Speed 3 - Fast -
BTG Option: Circumnavigation off

Я очень надеюсь, что турнир удастся. Пока внешне особой активности не видно, но Флай активно тренируются последний месяц-полтора и уже пообещали выставить 2 команды. Кроме того за последний месяц в лобби появились многие старые игроки которых не было видно очень давно. Я ожидаю, что ППП и ГОД обязательно кого-нибудь да заявят. А из "бесхозных" сильных игроков уже можно наскрести пару команд. Может еще кто появится.
Должен сказать, что в формулу турнира внесены незначительные изменения. В частности отменен самый зрелищный, но и самый стандартный ивент - ансиент 5*5. Официальная причина - большинству кланов сложно собрать состав на этот эвент (хотя на самом деле тут как раз все понятно - всем очевидно, что конкурировать с кланом РУС в данном эвенте сейчас бы никто не смог, разве что "идеальный" состав ППП, но его пока нет, а если и появится форму набрать уже не успеет :) ). В целом же все сделано для того чтобы сделать турнир привлекательным для участия большего числа мини-кланов - имея в составе буквально 3-5 человек можно реально претендовать на победу. Кроме того можно выступить в индивидуальных эвентах, если хочется сыграть, но нет партнеров для командных ивентов. Мне бы хотелось, чтобы и мы выставили минимум 2 команды, но у нас все как всегда: с одной стороны 2 десятка человек в составе, готовых быть "на подхвате", с другой стороны по факту оказывается что есть только 2 человека на все эвенты.
Все кто хочет играть, отметьтесь в этой теме! Но и простых болельщиков обещаю не банить :)

Отметился.
Вот только назревает командировка, надеюсь, что она не попадет на 10-12 июня.
Боюсь, Ветер, что ты переоцениваешь ситуацию - "на подхвате" сейчас никак не наберется не то что двух, но даже одного десятка.

Как уже упоминалось турнир является открытым, так что любой человек со стороны может принять участие, например в ктоне или 1х1 или ОСС, обязательным является лишь членство в лиге.
Также можно попробовать сформировать разовые команды для тимеров, для 2х2 ТБГ уж точно. НАЧАЛО УЖЕ СЕГОДНЯ!

Конечно как-то немного убого всё это выглядит, но всеравно наверняка для РУС очередная победа в ССС будет очень важна!

Да не, всё норм. Все-таки наши чемпионы, всеравно приятно. Даже пусть в чемпионате среди всяких иксов и игриков, но первые!

Оперативная информация тута (http://www.fastmoves.de/CCC77.JPG). 6 очков означает первое место, 3 - второе, 2 - третье.
На текущий момент там отсутствует инфомация по ктону и классике. Ктон выйграли наши: Ens-entium (он же wworry) занял первое место :win:, Ветер - второе, с чем их и поздравляем!
В классике мы заняли первое место :win:, FLY - второе.
Сейчас играется ренай, но у нас один безответственный, и прямо скажем, ветренный игрок куда-то пропал :chair:. К счастью, набралось всего три команды и Пенни (организатор) согласился подождать, пока идет игра первых двух команд между собой. Однако, если к тому времени никто из наших не проснется, нас ждет техническое поражение.:flush:
